Viewers (Some Features)

 Using SL Viewers for your Opensim Instance (they don't show option grid menu)

Windows shortcut

1. Create a shortcut to the SecondLife.exe executable. 
2. Edit the shortcut properties
3. Add any of the following parameters in the first editable text field:
4. (1 space)--loging uri regionIPaddress
5. The parameters go at the end of the line, after the closing quotation mark, if any. 
6. Aply and OK

Shadows in Kirstens Viewer

1. Main menu>Me>preferences>graphics>Lighting and Shadows & Ambient Occlusion
2. Click on the drop down menu below Shadows and select Sun/Moon + Projectors
3. Play with the shadow quality slider on the right hand side until you get good quality shadows at the lowest setting possible.
4. Choose a winlight setting to your taste
